Terms of Service

1. Service Description

DHRUVAID provides emergency identity cards (physical PVC card + digital profile) that display your medical information and trigger alerts to family, ambulance services, hospitals and insurance TPAs when your card is scanned or NFC tapped during an emergency.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to activate a card for yourself
• Parents or guardians may activate cards on behalf of minors
• You must provide accurate information — incorrect data could affect emergency care

4. Emergency Consent

By checking the Emergency Data Sharing Consent checkbox, you authorize DHRUVAID to:

• Share your medical profile with hospitals, ambulance services and insurance TPAs during emergencies
• Send your GPS location to emergency contacts and emergency services
• Create and share an incident ID with police, hospitals and your family
• Log all emergency events with timestamp and location

You may withdraw this consent at any time from your dashboard. Withdrawal means clinical data will not be shared with hospitals or TPAs during emergencies — only your family will be notified.

4A. Health Information Services

DHRUVAID members can also use the Specialist Finder, Medical Report Reader, Nutrition Guide, Health Summary and Health Vault. For these services:

• Specialist Finder suggests which kind of doctor to see and how urgently, using standard history-taking pathways. It is not a diagnosis.
• Medical Report Reader uses an AI service (Google Gemini) to read your report and explain it in simple language. AI can misread values — always check against the original report. Flagged critical values must be shown to a doctor without delay.
• Food guidance and the Nutrition Guide give general information from public food-composition data (USDA FoodData Central) and ICMR–NIN 2020 nutrient requirements. They are not a diet prescription. People with kidney, liver or heart disease, diabetes, pregnancy, children, or anyone on special diets or medicines such as blood thinners must follow their doctor or dietitian.
• Health Summary and document scanning are made from information you and your documents provide. You confirm every entry before it is added and you are responsible for its accuracy. Items marked "suspected" or "advised" are not confirmed diagnoses.
• Documents you upload for reading are sent to Google Gemini to create the explanation. Files saved to your Health Vault are stored in our database; files used only for "Scan now" are not kept.

5. Limitations of Service

• DHRUVAID is not a substitute for calling 108 or 112
• DHRUVAID does not guarantee ambulance response times
• DHRUVAID does not guarantee hospital bed availability
• DHRUVAID does not guarantee insurance cashless approval
• WhatsApp delivery depends on Twilio's service availability
• GPS accuracy depends on the bystander's phone and signal
• AI explanations, specialist suggestions and food guidance may be incomplete or wrong, and depend on third-party AI availability

6. Plans and Payment

• DHRUVAID LITE — first year ₹1,199 (introductory price ₹999 for orders placed on or before 31 Mar 2027), covering 1 person and 1 card; the first-year price includes the card and setup (₹700, one time) and one year of service. Renewal ₹299 per year.
• DHRUVAID PRIME — first year ₹2,499 (introductory price ₹1,999 for orders placed on or before 31 Mar 2027), covering 1 person and 1 card; the first-year price includes the card and setup (₹1,200, one time) and one year of service. Renewal ₹799 per year.
• DHRUVAID ELITE — first year ₹3,499 (introductory price ₹2,999 for orders placed on or before 31 Mar 2027), covering 3 family members and 3 cards; the first-year price includes the card and setup (₹1,500, one time) and one year of service. Renewal ₹1,499 per year. Additional members, up to 6 in all: adult (18 years and above) ₹999 first year and ₹299 per year; child (below 18 years) ₹499 first year and ₹149 per year.
• Members who order during the introductory offer ("founding members") keep their renewal price for 3 years from their first order, as long as they renew without a break.
• DHRUVAID Health plan (no card) — one plan for all health services together (Medical Report Reader, Health Summary, Specialist Finder, Nutrition Guide and Health Vault); there are no per-use charges. Launch offer: ₹99 for the first 1,000 members who buy on or before 31 Dec 2026; it is valid till 31 Dec 2026 whatever day it is bought, and does not carry over into 2027. From 1 Jan 2027, or earlier once 1,000 members have joined at the offer price, the plan is ₹499 for one year from the day of purchase.. Single uses bought earlier at ₹49 remain valid. Health services are included in DHRUVAID Prime (card holder) and Elite (every member); every card includes its own Health Vault. A reading is counted only when the AI has read the document. Fair use: on the Health plan, Prime and Elite, up to 10 reports or documents can be read by the AI in each calendar month; viewing, saving and the other services are not limited, and saved files can always be viewed and downloaded. If you buy DHRUVAID Prime or Elite within 12 months of paying for the Health plan, the amount you paid is deducted from the first-year price; if you buy Lite, the rest of your Health plan moves to your card instead. Your reports, history and vault files move to the new card. Health plan payments are not refundable, whether or not the services are used; if a payment is not credited because of a fault on DHRUVAID's side, the plan is credited to your account.
• A child member's date of birth is declared by the parent or legal guardian who adds them. DHRUVAID may ask for proof of age at renewal.
• All prices include GST
• All payments are final: the Health plan (launch offer and yearly), card plans and renewals are non-refundable once paid, whether or not used. Physical cards are non-refundable once dispatched. Only failed or duplicate payments are refunded; a purchase not added to your account because of a technical problem is added once reported — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Card Loss or Theft

If your card is lost or stolen, immediately deactivate it from your dashboard. DHRUVAID is not responsible for unauthorized scans of a lost or stolen card before deactivation.

8. Prohibited Use

• Do not trigger false emergencies — this is a criminal offence under Indian law
• Do not share your card with others — it is linked to your medical data
• Do not use the parking alert feature to harass vehicle owners

9. Intellectual Property

The DHRUVAID name, logo, platform design and hospital database are proprietary. Unauthorized reproduction or copying is prohibited.

The Nutrition Guide, Specialist Finder and their content (the selection and arrangement of foods, Indian food names, portions, condition-wise food advice, supplement guide and question pathways) are DHRUVAID's own compiled work, licensed to you for personal use only. You may not copy, screenshot for sharing, publish, scrape, download in bulk, resell or use them to build another product. Pages show your name as a watermark, and access may be suspended without refund for misuse.

10. Limitation of Liability

DHRUVAID provides a best-effort emergency notification service. We are not liable for failure of alerts due to network issues, third-party service outages, or incorrect contact details. We are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of the educational health information services described in section 4A without consulting a registered medical practitioner. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for your DHRUVAID plan.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
